Manual/auto-focous:

Flick the switch on the side of the canon 1200D over to manual focus this allows you to have complete freedom over your settings, ISO and frames per second. Manual focus allows full creative control over the user's interface. I'd recommend manual focus over auto as you get to know your camera better, with auto focus everything is done for you.

Creative Filters/camera colour settings: 

To access the camera's image filter settings press the 'Q' button on the front panel of the camera (right hand side near the screen) to enter the interface of different image options. Here you can scroll though different color settings and choose which ever you fancy. In this case, i have chosen monochrome (black & white).
